Obituary

To my readers;  I enjoyed this article very much. I feel compelled to share it. Enjoy!

An Obituary printed in the London Times – Interesting and sadly rather true

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend,

Common Sense,

who has been with us for many years.

No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: –

Knowing when to come in out of the rain; –

Why the early bird gets the worm; –

Life isn’t always fair; –

and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies—

don’t spend more than you can earn—

and reliable strategies–adults, not children, are in charge.

and ultimately one person has to finally coordinate to be answerable

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.

Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate;

Teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch;

and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further

when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live

as the churches became businesses;

and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating

when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live,

after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death,

by his parents, Truth and Trust,

by his wife, Discretion,

by his daughter, Responsibility,

and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 step brothers;

I Know My Rights

I Want It Now

Someone Else Is To Blame

I’m A Victim

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

If you still remember him,

pass this on.

If not,

join the majority and do nothing.

Learning

Learning

Greatest of pleasures in old age is

to see innocent offspring bloom.

Greatest of pleasures in young age

is to have grand parents’ love.

Mutual interaction and need is the

biggest of treasures available in plenty.

Play way is best way to teach and learn,

lot can be transmitted

Transmit whatever we have,

in easy and comprehending way

Let Snigdha gain the edge over her colleagues

and enjoy the lead

She has the advantage of company

of a retired qualified grandparent

You have the challenge of transmitting in play,

as much you can make her imbibe

Edge, confidence, foundation, root strength for self growth

are crucial for anybody

Very few in this world are blessed

with this advantage of company of retired doctor

Let this opportunity not be wasted,

world should see this well en-cashed,

Doctors’, teachers’ minds in old age,

is best environment for the child.

Road Ahead

lolcaption-funny-sign-bumpy-road-ahead

Image curtsy Google images.

There are many roads laid down ahead

Need the right decision, which instead

If already walking successfully the one

Keep going on same as a moving canon

Success is a journey and not a destination

Being happy too is a road needs discipline

Making life useful for others is one thought

Happiness shared, created and amply taught

Solve problems and train for that many lives

Be productive, creative n enjoy the beehives

Happiness isn’t brought by winning like dons

Nor is it in accumulating currency and stones

Climbing a power tree too is not the happiness

Shining in sky like a star may not be rightness

It is the weakest of individuals’ feeling about us

He should be appreciative of our deeds, himself

Force, thrones, money, knowledge and body thy

All are meant for His creations on earth to shine

Be an asset to the society, currency being pleasure

One should leave this earth better, increase treasure

Work is worship, should not have doubt about that

Indebted we are for many of comforts, clear the stat.

Attitude

Share Enjoyment

Attitude of person is important

For himself and his environment

Happiness and sorrow is partly act

Action n thought is, for us to select

If we plant the right, the right will grow

Otherwise it is going to be adverse flow

Enjoying at others’ cost is not wisdom

Helping others to be happy is stardom

Positive thought sharing helps a lot

Be happy and make others laugh

Obesity

Full image available at that site.

Obesity is one of normal looking dangerous disease

Carrying on more weight then body mass index, it is

Eating more calories then spent daily is the culprit

Fat, fatty acids, triglycerides, results of faulty habit

Sedentary life style is another contributor to the rot

One hundred sixty minutes walk, at least weekly slot

Thrice a week walk or exercise is minimal required

Start with comfortable and increase slowly, get tired

Twenty minutes physical work up, recognized by body

Hormones, the chemicals controlling energy, are jolted

Fat is bad fuel and forces glucose to increase in blood

Decreases supply to organs, increased viscosity of blood

Efficiency of body decreased, organ’s ageing is enhanced

Fuel supply in cells be in proper form and not accumulated

Exercise decreases hunger since more blood goes to muscles

Our gut becomes active while eating, absent activity in muscles

It is a vicious cycle of excess eating and less activity in body

It is better avoided to keep ourselves healthy, hale and hearty.

Poverty

Poverty? Ornaments or Kids Care in mind

Point of view of a person is all important

Every point has 360 degrees, it’s around

Globe looks different from different stars

Fate decided partly by sun, moon’ n mars

Nobody is poor in this world of diversity

Everybody is deficient in some of quality

Think some one poor, is be-fooling himself

Everybody is confined n lives in his belief

So called poor person, may be having less

Less n more are adjectives, relative stress

Life may be more in years, less in virtues

Poor is paid less, by man, potential statues

Circumstances too are not all controllable

Bravery is living life, amongst the gullible

Financially rich may be mentally depressed

Devoid of money, but happiness possessed

A couple may be having no issues, tried best

Poor with many kids, having an earning’s test

Person is paid according to services rendered

Acquired more from society, be surrendered

No one is there, devoid of desires, or fulfilled

Everybody has a glass, definitely partly filled

Ornaments

Outstanding Blogger Award

Accepting an award which

I probably was not worthy of

Not accepting it appears insulting

The tradition to promote talent, creativity

Tradition to share the art, views that

Helps in healthy growth of objectivity

No doubt, it is great ritual of a process

Literary art, poetic gems, and access

Available to many rare pieces of thought

Encountered in this way to as many wrote.

Thanks to all who considered anything on this blog worthy of anything to be read or worth awarding.
