Unnecessary laws

Prevention of offences against child in proposed form appears to be an act of blindly following the west. We have very well grown up in the parental loving atmosphere. In India, parents love their children more then required. Punishment and its deterrent fear is one of the forces to teach children value of discipline. Keeping in mind the current corruption levels in police and judiciary along with lack of any parallel state support system, new proposed law is likely to spoil the family atmosphere. Police men will use this law to squeeze out money from BPL families, to land them in further debt. Opposition parties will find a good point to arouse public emotions. Creation of this unnecessary law will further overload the judiciary and delay the justice.
